What this tool does
Converts between TSV and XML. The header row becomes element names and each row becomes a record element.
How to use it
- Paste the data.
- Choose the direction.
- Run it and check the element names are valid XML.
Worked example
A two-line TSV with name and value headers converts into an XML record with those two child elements.
Frequently asked questions
- Spaces in column names cause errors.
- XML element names cannot contain spaces. Rename headers using letters and underscores before converting.
- What about empty columns?
- They become empty elements. Check that column positions survive the round trip.

Input is processed in your browser. Namespaces and attributes are not handled.
