Enter your values and run the tool to see your result.

What this tool does

Stamps page numbers onto the pages you choose — useful for renumbering after merging several documents.

How to use it

  1. Choose the PDF file.
  2. Specify which pages get numbers.
  3. Run it, then open the result and check the numbers do not collide with the content.

Worked example

Targeting page 1 of a three-page PDF returns a three-page PDF with a number stamped on page 1.

Frequently asked questions

What about a document that already has numbers?
Existing numbers are part of the page content and are not removed, so the new number is added on top. Check the result for overlap.
Can numbering start at 3?
Not supported. As a workaround, extract the body pages, number them, then merge the cover back on.

What this tool does not cover

Fine control over position, font, and numbering style (i, ii, iii) is not supported.
