What this tool does

Pulls the pages you specify out of one PDF, each as its own file, and returns them in a ZIP. Pages are numbered from 1, and you can mix ranges and comma lists.

How to use it

  1. Choose the PDF file.
  2. Enter the pages to split out, such as 1,3,5 or 2-4.
  3. Run it to build a ZIP of per-page PDFs.
  4. Unpack the ZIP and confirm each file holds the right page.

Worked example

Taking page 1 from a three-page PDF gives a ZIP containing one single-page PDF.

Frequently asked questions

I want several pages in one file.
Use the extract PDF pages tool instead. Split makes one file per page; extract collects the chosen pages into a single file.
How do I split every page?
Enter a generous range like 1-9999; only the pages that exist are processed. To check the page count first, open it in the PDF reader.

What this tool does not cover

Files are processed in your browser and not uploaded. It splits by whole pages only; it cannot cut a single page in half.
