What this tool does

How to use it

Worked example

Choosing page 1 of a three-page PDF with your text returns a PDF watermarked on page 1 only.

Frequently asked questions

The watermark hides the content.
Shorter text overlaps less. You can also leave out pages that contain critical tables or signature blocks.
Can the watermark be removed?
Not easily from the output, but specialised tools can strip it. Do not rely on it to prevent leaks, and keep your original separately.

What this tool does not cover

Text watermarks only — no image watermarks, fine opacity or rotation control, or different text per page. It is not a way to redact confidential content.
