salary/12Frequently asked questions
- My actual pay is lower.
- This is a gross average. Income tax, social insurance, and other deductions reduce take-home pay. If bonuses are paid separately, the monthly salary is lower still.
- How do I convert biweekly pay?
- Divide the annual figure by 26 for each payment. Twenty-six payments do not align with twelve months, so it differs from the monthly equivalent.
What this tool does not cover
A simple division by twelve. Pay cycles, deductions, bonus timing, and mid-year joining or leaving are not reflected.
