Only the Southern Pine No.2, wet-service, 40 psf live plus 10 psf dead load, single-level residential deck scope of AWC DCA6-2015 revised2018. Not generalized to indoor floors or other species/grades. Not approval under current local codes or a structural safety determination. Connections, footings, lateral resistance, ledger, guards and remaining construction details need separate review. Table3A built-up beams supporting one joist span only. Beam depth must be at least joist depth when hangers are used. Not for beams receiving joist spans from both sides.
